There are many different job possibilities in and around Redwood National Park.

Redwood National Park Employment Opportunities - Full Time Positions come open every so often with the National Park Service. These positions are announced and filled through the Federal Register.

Temporary / Seasonal Positions with Redwood National Park Service.

Park Ranger and Park Guide: Vacancies for summer are posted the previous winter (November through February). Rehire eligibles must submit their request within the above time frame.

Roads and Trails crew and Maintenance: Applications are accepted between November 15 and December 15 each year. Phone RNSP for a copy of the announcement at: 707-464-6101. Rehire eligibles must submit their request within the above time frame.

Biological and/or Physical Science Technician: Applications accepted between November 15 and December 10 each year. Phone: 707-464-6101 for a copy of the announcement. Rehire eligibles must submit their request within the above time frame.

Student Conservation Association (SCA) has summer positions in just about all the national parks. These are volunteer positions that work with park service personnel. You receive valuable experience working with rangers and the public in a national park setting. Your compensation is room and board and work experience.
